volunteer

You’re the heartbeat of Habitat.

Whether it’s your time, tithe, or talent;

Whether individuals, groups, sponsors, or schools, there are many ways you can be a part of changing someone’s future.

who does it take?

Who does it take to build a Habitat house? It takes everyone, and that starts with YOU! Your financial support, your voice, and your time will help more families achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build better lives

Can you imagine paying over 50% of your income for housing?  Affordable housing is a crisis. You have the power to be a part of the change you want to see.

groups

Church groups, business groups, civic and social groups, volunteering on a Habitat project is an opportunity to make a lasting difference in your community.

Teamwork, fellowship, sweat, and laughter – we have it all!  Groups love working on our construction projects!

If your group is interested, reach out to us and let’s see how we can make your dreams come true!

individuals

We provide diverse opportunities for individuals to contribute towards our mission of eradicating housing poverty.

Regardless of your background or skillset, you can make a difference by joining us. Whether you prefer the hands-on experience of swinging a hammer, the administrative support of answering phones, the simple act of providing snacks for our workers, or serving on one of our dedicated volunteer teams, there is a place for everyone at Habitat.

students

As a student of Manchester University, you can also get involved with Habitat for Humanity through your school’s chapter.

We would be glad to reserve build days for you and are always welcoming of new members. Contact us to coordinate availabilities.

In addition to building, your school chapter hosts special events to raise awareness and support for Habitat for Humanity.

Habitat chapters are a great way to meet like-minded people, and they’ll keep you engaged in both your school and your community.
